Rescued Rottie Needs Wheelchair  E-mail
UPDATE:  Jake has received a wheelchair, and we look forward to posting photos and an update on his progress shortly!  Thank you for your generous support!

Jake, a beautiful Rottweiler, was once left abandoned and neglected in an apartment for several days when his first owner died a few years ago.  He then survived neglect and a severe case of heartworm before finally joining his forever family that includes two young girls who love Jake dearly.

Jake is now a senior dog that is suffering from a neurological condition which has impacted his mobility.  He is not a candidate for surgery and would really benefit from a dog wheelchair so that he can continue to take his daily walks in the woods with his family.

Sadly, Jake's family is struggling to afford the cost of a dog wheelchair and has turned to the Handicapped Pets Foundation for assistance.  Please help this lovely and devoted Rottie get rolling with a doggie wheelchair.
